Daniel Deeney 

Daniel Deeney is a Partner with New Venture Partners (NV), a New Jersey based communications and IT focused venture capital firm with $700 million in funds under management.  NV’s investment strategy is targeted at corporate technology spin-outs from large R&D based companies primarily in North America and Europe.  NV began its investing activities in 1996 when it was Lucent New Ventures Group, the corporate venturing unit of the telecommunications equipment company.  NV spun itself out of Lucent along with a buyout of the investment fund in 2001. Deeney has extensive experience in evaluating new investment opportunities from corporate research labs and business units of technology companies.  Deeney’s background includes the financial management of NV’s investment funds and leading corporate finance activities for portfolio companies.  Before joining Lucent New Ventures Group, Deeney managed the corporate finance group at Venator Group, a Fortune 500 consumer goods and retail company, where he worked on acquisitions and divestitures.  Prior to Venator, Deeney managed the financial analysis and planning group at Mobilemedia Communications, a wireless network operator, where he played a key financial role in the firm’s IPO.  Deeney also worked as an accountant for Bank of America focused on commercial lending and credit analysis.  Deeney is a director of Airversent, Inc., Evolved Networks Limited and Elanti Systems, Inc. Deeney is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Finance from San Diego State University, an MBA from Pepperdine University and a MS in Management of Technology from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania

Don A. Williams

Don Williams is a Certified Public Accountant, entrepreneur, and civic leader.  He previously served as Chairman and Acting CEO of Texert. Williams experience includes past or present ownership of a number of ventures, including Senior Partner of a regional Certified Public Accounting firm, various software ventures in the area of computer operating system security, four radio stations, two steak houses, four  cable television systems, fourteen  fast food restaurants, a nursing home, an assisted living center, and an independent living center.  He recently completed a term as the Gene Edwards Executive-in-Residence to the College of Business at West Texas A&M University, where he also served as an adjunct professor of management. Wayland Baptist University bestowed upon him the honor of the first named School in the University's history with the naming of the Don A. Williams School of Education. Mr. Williams was recognized with the 1998 “Man of the Year” award from the Plainview Chamber of Commerce and the 1998 “Sam Walton Business Leader Award”, sponsored by the Wal-Mart Foundation and awarded on a national basis. Williams is the Founder and Chairman of the Plainview Education Partnership, an organization dedicated to providing each graduating senior of the Plainview school system an opportunity for 1 year’s tuition to college. In the twelve years since its inception, more than 500 young people have received over $1,800,000 worth of education from the partnership. He is on the Board of Directors of Asparity Decision Solutions, Inc. where he served as Chairman and CEO for seven years.  He also serves as Chairman of Covenant Hospital of Plainview, serves on the Board of Directors of Happy State Bank, Plainview, and is a trustee of the Joachim Foundation. Williams graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University.

Harry Berry

Harry Berry is a Partner with New Venture Partners, a New Jersey based communications and IT focused venture capital firm with $700 million in funds under management.  Berry focuses on European investment opportunities and manages the operations of the United Kingdom-based team. With over 30 years experience in the telecommunications industry, Berry has held a wide range of senior positions.   He was a Director on the Board of BT Exact Technologies and the creator of BT Brightstar, BT's corporate incubator prior to setting up the European arm of New Venture Partners. Berry is a Board director of several software and services businesses, including Subex, iO Global Ltd., Airversent Inc., and Real Time Content Ltd. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies from the University of Manchester.

T. Curtis Holmes, Jr.

Holmes brings more than fifteen years of executive leadership experience in providing innovative software solutions to global enterprises. Holmes joined Texert as President and Chief Executive Officer in April 2008.  Prior to Texert, Holmes served as President and Chief Executive Officer of MetaSolv Software from July 2003 to December 2006, prior to MetaSolv being acquired by Oracle Corporation.  Previously, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2001 to 2003. He led MetaSolv’s return to profitable growth through significant global expansion initiatives and key strategy-driven acquisitions, including acquiring operations support systems software assets from Nortel Networks early in 2002, and acquiring London-based Orchestream Holdings plc in 2003. Prior to joining MetaSolv in January 2001, Holmes was Vice President of the Intelligent Network Unit of Lucent Technologies. Under his direction, the Intelligent Network Unit achieved a major global expansion, market leadership position, and sustained revenue growth and profitability. He has more than 25 years experience in the communications software industry, including managing the development of operations support systems applications. He started his career at Bell Laboratories in 1984. Holmes is a director of Elanti Systems, Inc. and Greenhill School.  He previously served as director of Tango Networks. Holmes earned an M.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Southern University.
